We just might melt! · posted Jul 31, 03:41 AM

Well Saturday was only supposed to get into the mid 90’s and it got up to 110! I don’t know how many days we’ve been above 100 but I’m guessing it’s been almost 20 with maybe one day where we only hit 99. :) Next Tuesday says high in the upper 80’s…that would be a nice change!

A BIG Congratulations to Jeremiah for running the Deseret 10K Race with the Air Force flag! He ran with some other military branches and only had a weeks notice that they wanted him to hold the AF flag. They made it in about an hour! Jeremiah had a little trip to the medical tent after he finished the race but he’s just fine now…except for his legs, they still hurt a little bit! We are all proud of you!

Davin drew a baloon the other and then yelled for me to come look at it! He’s also very good at drawing himself! :)

We gave Davin a little potty training award ribbon since he starting potty training over a year ago and hasn’t worn diapers for over a year. He’s been trained for quite some time now and I’ve almost forgot what it’s like having to ask him 10 times a day if he needs to go to the bathroom. :) So Congratulations to Davin. Davin said he wanted to talk about people the other night before he went to bed. I asked what kind of people and he said “Let’s talk about the people with no necks”. I gave him the ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about’ look. He said “You know, and the ones with sticks for chins down by the water”. Then I remembered we watched something on the discovery channel about Africans a few months ago. I have no idea how he remembers this stuff!

Davin’s new pet…Freddy the snail! Freddy really like lettuce!

Davin and Brendin at the RSL vs DC United Soccer Game Saturday Night

Brendin is walking around a lot faster these days! He’s also decided he doesn’t mind wearing flip-flops and he can walk in them. He’s trying to say a ton of words but Snack and Please are the most common!

Oh and Grandpa Dave, Davin says he would like to take you to the Aviary tomorrow….that is if you can make it! :)
