The boys are doing good, Davin is learning what happens when you hit people and Brendin is trying to sleep through the night but 6 hours is about the most he can do without eating. He sleeps from about 10 until 7:30 though so we aren’t complaining. We’ll be going to the AF Squadron annual in Reno next month and then we’re going to Hawaii again…I know I know, it seems like we were just there. But it’s been a whole year already! Getting ready for fall and not wishing for snow! We have a new home phone number so if you want it…just email us, jj@mollman.com.

Davin started saying “What?” when he doesn’t hear you and he’ll say “What you sayin’ ‘bout that Dad?” when he wants you to repeat yourself. We were playing baseball in his room and Jeremiah was telling me a story & Davin decided that Dad wasn’tplaying fast enough so he said “Stop talking Dad, let’s play baseball!”. I was putting Davin to bed and he asked what a Lullabye was, I told him a lullabye helps you sleep. Then when I said ‘goodnight Davin’ he said ‘goodnight lullabye mom’....awww!

We had a lot of fun in SD. It was great to see everyone. The baptism went great and we were so glad to have Mike & Elise as Godparents. Brendin had his 2 mo. appt and is bigger than I thought. He has already grown a couple of inches and gained a few pounds. 24 1/2 and 12lbs 15oz. Now I know why his clothes are fitting so much differently than Davin’s! Davin was a pound heavier and 2 inches shorter, he was definitely a chunk!! Brendin is in some 6-9 month clothes because he’s so long. He’s in the 95th+ percentile for height and weight. He is such a good baby, he eats fast and is sleeping good. We couldn’t ask for more. That vacation wore us out, Davin was sick the whole time with a cold/flu mix and the whole house got sick. So everyone can feel free to come to Salt Lake and visit us now! :)

This weekend we went to Bear Lake (on the Idaho/Utah border) and rented a 22’ camper from the base. Had a great time and it’s actually pretty nice up there. The water is nice and blue and the lake is huge even though the water is really down right now. Davin liked camping, the fires, sleeping in a different bed, and getting to ride in a little speed boat and watch Daddy wake board. Davin asks Brendin if he likes things now, Daddy was nodding Brendin’s head one day as if he was answering yes and Davin loved it. He asks him all the time if he likes Mommy, Daddy, Bob the Builder and other random things! Davin has been counting to three for a while now and I heard him counting his snacks about 2 weeks ago and he counted up to five. On the car ride to Bear Lake Davin was saying 1, 2 traffic cones! Then he counted “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9” traffic cones! Jeremiah and I were at a loss! When I asked him what comes after nine he said 10. Of couse he’s shy about it and won’t do it for the camera, but we’ll catch him some time!
Brendin has started smiling a lot-it’s great!!

On Thursday Brendin had his 2 wk check-up and has gained weight, he’s at 9lbs 6oz now, and is still 22 inches. Everything checked out fine. Davin has been putting together quite the sentances these days. I don’t think there are any words that he doesn’t know. A few weeks ago he said “What is that doing in there” and today while reading a book about the 4th of July he said “Mom, sit on the blankie ‘n watch the fireworks”. We watch the South Salt Lake fireworks on the 2nd. We kept Davin up and sat outside, they were only about 2 blocks away so we had a perfect view. They lasted for over half an hour & Davin loved them. Then on the 4th we went to a nearby parking lot to light off fireworks of our own and ended up having a perfect view of the Sugar House fireworks north of us and the Sandy fireworks south of us, going off at the same time.
We caught one of brendin’s first smiles on camera last week. And one of him with his tongue out.
Oh man did Davin have fun at Raging Waters last Friday-we were there for 3.5 hours! Here’s him with Dad on the Lazy River

Bendin Kai, born on June 16th, weighed in at 9lbs 1oz and 22” long. He is very healthy and the surgery went great. I’m feeling good and healing fast, Brendin is a copy of Davin and so far just like him-calm and eating & sleeping a lot.

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Dede and Big Brother Davin met us in the reovery room right after surgery. Davin loved the baby and started to cry when Brendin cried and wanted Daddy to hold him.
Davin was excited to come to the hospital twice a day.
“Little toes!” Davin would say…along with little hairs, little legs, little fingers…etc! It was really cute. He also went right for the stethosope everytime so he could listen to the baby’s heartbeat.

And some sad news in our family. Three of my cousins were in a fatal accident, Justin and Casey didn’t make it and Ryan is in ICU. Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts, as we are.

Tomorrow we are having the cesarean at 10a.m. at the LDS hospital and will call as many people as we can, as soon as we can. Here are some pictures and videos from the past couple of weeks. We should be out of the hospital on Sat or Sun and we’ll post pictures then.

Davin got his first ‘real’ boo boo by hitting his head on a corner of of an office desk. He was a trooper!
Davin had his first Dentist appt. last week and did amazingly well! He let them clean his teeth and is so proud of his new toothpaste!
Davin got fish for his birthday from the ‘baby’! He named them Ricky (after Aunt Dede’s fish) and Stripe :)
Davin had a Wiggles cake and he’s showing off the car that came on it.
The cooking set that Davin would not stop playing with to open more presents! Thanks Aunt Tami!

I had my 36wk appt. today and was 1cm dilated…let’s hope this baby isn’t planning an early surprise…Mom and Dede already bought their plane tickets!

I know these videos came out dark, I lightened them as much as I could. It’s mostly the sound that you want but in the 2nd one Davin shows some major attitude staring into the camera, and with his gestures. It’s pretty funny.
