We had a lot of fun with Jeremiah’s family coming out here. We spent a day at the Base, a day at Busch Gardens, a day at the Outer Banks, a day in Virginia Beach and a day shopping!
This is such a beautiful beach, can’t wait to take more people down to see it!

PS Davin had his 2-month Well Baby check-up today at 8:30 a.m. and everything went fine. The doctor said he is very well nourished! He weighs a whopping 13lbs 10oz (95th percentile) and is 22 1/2 (25th percentile) inches long. He had his first three shots today and it went well. He cried when she first stuck him but calmed down after the 3rd one since we gave him infant tylenol before and after the shot… and he has been sleeping since, thankfully!

Jeremiah got his test results back for Staff Sergeant while the family was here so he got to share the excitement! He did much better than he thought on the two tests. He scored higher than 98% of eligibles on one test and 92.2% higher than eligibles on the other test. He should be putting it on around this time next year. I’ll be putting up pictures from this family vacation later this week.

Of course, we’ve got over 50 pictures of the little big guy and working on the 3rd roll. Yesterday we had a check-up to have his blood drawn and check his bilirubin level for his jaundice. It did go up about a point but as long as it doesn’t go up more than a point or two by tomorrow he should start going down if he isn’t already. If he does jump up over 20 they’ll want to keep him under the lights again for 24 hours. If only the sun would come out we’d be able to help this process out!

Daddy picked out the going home outfit after the baby was born. He’s also wearing it in his crib picture below.
And one of the best pictures so far. We captured one of his first smiles the day we came home. He’s in a crib that’s been passed down through Jeremiah’s family and his Great Grandfather slept in it almost 100 years ago. Davin spends more time in bed with us but he’ll be using it more in the future.

After 25 hours of labor we had a c-section a 4:36p.m. on June 12th. Daddy cut the cord then I got my 1st good look at Davin Jon. After that it was off to the nursery with Daddy for initial checks and first bath. An hour later we got to have him in our room.

Here is one of the pictures from our last ultrasound on April 29th. The baby has his/her hand up to his/her mouth. I think the baby weighed almost 5lbs at this one.

Last month I flew to Minneapolis to see my sisters new house and we drove to ND and surprised my Mom and Step Dad…Dede managed to get a perfect picture of Mom’s face.
